Bone Broth Glazed Carrots

Our Turmeric & Black Pepper Bone Broth and carrots are a match made in heaven!

Add maple syrup, some warm spices, and butter, and you've got an amazing side dish for any holiday gathering.

Glazed Carrots

Ingredients: 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced ¼ inch thin; 1 cup FOND’s Turmeric &amp; Black Pepper Bone Broth; ½ tsp ginger; ½ tsp cinnamon; 1 Tbsp maple syrup; ½ stick butter, cubed; Salt and pepper, to taste; Fresh thyme leaves, to garnish

Ingredients

1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced ¼ inch thin
1 cup FOND’s Turmeric & Black Pepper Bone Broth
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp maple syrup
½ stick butter, cubed
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh thyme leaves, to garnish

Directions

In a large sauté pan, add the carrots, bone broth, ginger, cinnamon and maple syrup. Bring the heat up to a simmer and cook the carrots for approximately 10 minutes, or until just tender.
Turn the heat up to high, and let the liquid reduce until it glazes the carrots. Take the pan off the heat, and add in the butter, and stir until melted. Season the carrots to taste.
Garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
