A note from our founder...
After serious digestive issues led to emergency surgery, I was determined to change the trajectory of my health, even with a newborn in tow. A five-week bone broth fast helped me feel better than I ever had, and that daily ritual became the start of everything.
At my local farmers market, my broths were an instant hit, and I felt called to share the healing benefits of traditional foods.
As I learned more, I realized healing food starts upstream. Healthy soil, healthy animals, and careful processing matter. That is why FOND is built on regenerative, nutrient-dense staples crafted to support your kitchen and your body. Ten years later, I never needed the second surgery, and it’s my mission to offer a healing seat at the table for as many people as possible.
Where It All Began...
What began as a personal healing journey for Alysa soon became something we wanted to share with others. So we packed up our broth, headed to the farmers market in San Antonio, Texas, and brought along a whole lot of hope for what FOND could become. By the end of that very first market, we had completely sold out of all the broth we brought. It was the beginning of an exciting new chapter for FOND.
