Seriously delicious and nourishing to boot, this duck fat aioli is the perfect way to send off summer flavors! Served here with crab cakes, you can easily pair it with roasted veggies or serve on top of burgers or salmon!
Ingredients
-
1 egg
-
1 garlic clove, crushed and minced
-
½ tsp mustard powder
-
½ tsp salt
-
Dash of pepper
-
1 tsp lemon juice
-
1 cup FOND’s Duck Fat
Directions
In a blender or food processor, add the egg, garlic, mustard, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Blend for a few seconds to combine.
With the food processor or blender running, slowly drizzle in the duck fat. Take your time! This is a slow process and ensures that the oil becomes emulsified with the other ingredients. Check for consistency. Add the bone broth and blend. Check for seasoning.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
