Crispy Hot Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

We partnered with our friend Chef Emari on these incredible hot honey tallow wings. Think crispy wings tossed in a glossy, hot honey garlic butter that hits sweet, savory, and heat all at once.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken wings

2 Tbsp avocado oil

1 Tbsp honey rub (Spicewalla has a pretty clean version)

6 Tbsp unsalted butter

1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 Tbsp minced garlic
-
1 cup hot honey
-
1 cup FOND’s Pure & Unflavored Beef Tallow (for shallow frying)

Directions
Toss wings with avocado oil and honey rub until evenly coated.
Heat beef tallow in a pan over medium heat until shimmering.
Shallow fry wings, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the heat and let rest on a rack or paper towel.
In a separate pan, add butter and olive oil over medium-low heat.
Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, not browned.
Pour in hot honey and stir until glossy and combined.
Toss wings in the sauce until fully coated.
Let them sit for 1–2 minutes so the glaze tightens up.
